Please join us for a public reception honoring the artists
on Sunday, January 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

Traditionally, a
self-portrait
presents a literal - i.e. visually accurate - depiction of the artist
who created the image. However, self-portraiture can also be
metaphorical - as when an image depicts items, elements, colors, and/or
compositions that reflect something about the artist. It may be
the way the artist feels about himself, or it may address a
transformational moment in the artist's life. In these cases, the
portrait is of the artist's "insides" rather than his "outside"
